Robert started Cornerstone Business Technology with the aim of providing on-demand IT services for small businesses. Emphasizing a winning combination of friendly service and up-to-date technical expertise, Cornerstone operates as a four-member team who will guide business owners through every step of the IT process, including business assessment, system purchasing and setup, installation and maintenance, security, technical support, and customer service.

Based in beautiful North Vancouver since January 2008, Cornerstone’s ongoing mission is to provide small business owners with the peace of mind they need. Confident in the knowledge that Cornerstone is taking care of their company’s IT issues, entrepreneurs can focus their energy on running their business and earning revenue.

Robert Thompson has over a decade of IT experience:
·         Graduated in 1999 from Algonquin College (Ottawa) - Business Administration diploma majoring in Information Systems
·         IBM Global Services (Edmonton) - Field service technician. Supported banks, insurance companies, and retail outlets
·         Group Telecom (Vancouver) - Technical business analyst and senior technical support representative
·         Absolute Software (Vancouver) - Software deployment and support contact.
·         Winner of the #1 Customer Support Rep Award
·         Training from CISCO Systems for routers and firewalls and Global Knowledge for Network Security
·         Currently studying at BCIT as a Microsoft Network Administrator
